Slow launching textpad after double click text file.

I know there is a problem with DDE because I did not notice any problems with
all other applications. I have Windows XP SP2.

I uninstalled textpad 4.7.3 and reinstall it and the problem persist.

I don't have any problem launch textpad alone but I have a problem when I
double-click text files or right click and click "TextPad".

How can I fix DDE problem? Something blocking DDE messages but I need to
identify the source that blocking DDE messages. I have confirmed that Outlook
2003 is not in workgroup mode.
