Slow Down Using PDF Reader

When using Adobe's PDF reader to view large PDF files on line (and cutting
and pasting) that my system starts to slow down. I eventually have to
re-boot. Is there a way to 'flush' the clipboard viewer without having to
re-boot?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Try FoxIt instead it's less bloaded than Adobe
and might work better

I'll second the use of Foxit. It's free and you can get it here:

I've also had problems using Adobe, but in my case it completely freezes up
everything, and then I can't close it without using Task Manager. Would an
uninstall/reinstall help? I wouldn't mind just using another PDF Reader, but
I'm not sure about how to use Foxit; there are a number of choices of what
to download on that page.Which ones do I need? There are a few sites that I
go to for schedules that use PDF's, so that's really all I use it for, if I
uninstall Adobe and install Foxit, will I still be able to read those pages
if they normally ask for Adobe?

Hello again Wanda,

An uninstall/reinstall may indeed fix the problem. If you want to try
Foxit, it's the first download listed. I personally have uninstalled
Adobe and just use Foxit. It works fine, even for reading online pages.
When installing, you may get a message that Foxit is already installed
although it isn't. Just click past this.

Luck!
