Slow browsing Win2003 Server shared folders

Hi,

Recently installed 2 Windows 2003 servers. Both are set up
as DC.
Problem: Browsing i.e mapped drives on server from clients
is extremely slow. Clients is NT/W2KPro and XP Pro.
Have seen a lot of articles on Google with similar
problem, but few have a solution.

Check the ipconfig/all from the clients. Does everything point to the
server-IP?

DNS.....
Does Server A point to itself as Primary DNS and the B Server Secondary in
DNS for TCP/IP?
This should be the same for the other B Server as well.
If the servers can't find the IP address on the LAN, it must be outside, so
configure a Forwarder to your router or your ISP's DNS. I tried both, and I
got better results from forwarding to the router if the ISP was down. LAN
speed stayed the same in that case.

BTW I had a 3COM NIC that was programmed to go at 100Mb/s and Device
Manager said np, but the 10MB/s LED was lit up.....Check this one first!!
