Slow bootup on systems using win 2000 pro

I have 3 computers using win 2000 pro which all the sudden
today took approx 30 minutes to boot up. They take about 10
minutes to get to the network login screen and then take
another 20 minutes to get to the desktop. They seem to
take the most time loading personal settings. I have two
other machines using windows xp that seem to work fine.
All 3 win 2000 machines have the sp4 installed, but worked
fine prior to today. Thanks in advance for any help.

Try booting to safe mode.
If that works, it might be some drivers problem.
Else you might need to use System Monitor to capture the Processor and
Process counters to identify which process is consuming the CPU time.
