Hi all,
I am trying to install Windows XP Pro. on a PC with an on-board Serial
ATA RAID interface fitted to the motherboard. The computer's one and
only hard drive is connected to this.
Windows does not have the drivers for this SATA card, and the PC does
not have a floppy drive, so I CANNOT press F6 and load the drivers from
a floppy when the text phase of setup starts.
I have created my own custom bootable Windows XP Setup CDROM and I have
placed the drivers for the SATA card in the i386\DRIVER.CAB file.
My CDROM boots fine and setup starts as it should, but setup will not
load the drivers for the SATA card, and still halts with the "Setup
cannot find any hard drives attached to this computer" screen.
What have I missed?
Chris
