slideshow timed to music

Does anyone know of a slideshow progam that would allow me to include a
soundtrack (mp3, etc.) and determine the duration for which an image is
shown, by dividing the number of slides to be shown into into the
length (seconds) of the soundtrack?

I'd like to be able to save the slideshow as an executable ala
IrfanView.

Thanks for any info.

Freeware: MyAlbum - adds sound and creates executable slideshow.

I think you would have to add the portion of the soundtrack you want
to each picture.

I don't think you can vary the duration of each slide in the automatic
slideshow. But maybe I missed something. You might have to use a
manual slidehow and change pictures when the music stops on each
slide. Might be worth it for you to check out.

Ummm, Irfanview does this already.

Create a slideshow list, setting your mp3 as the first item on the list,
followed by your images. Under slideshow you can set the time for the
images. Simply do as you say -- divide the song length by the number of
slides -- enter this number into the input box and off you go.

I'm not sure if you can do this with more than one mp3 song, but a quick
test should verify it.

Hi,

I'm sure I used Wondershare Flash SlideShow Builder in the past and was
impressed with its features. It lets you add music or narration to your
slideshows, you can even trim the audio files, and the audio fade
in/out feature gives your slideshow a more professional touch.

Try Slide Show Movie Maker. It creates an .avi file from a series of
pictures. Has several fades and has provisions for background music.

If you make the calculation yourself, you can do this with MyAlbum.
With MyAlbum you can specify the duration of each slide with one decimal
number. It may be necessary to give a few slides an alternative duration in
order to meet the exact length of the soundtrack.
MyAlbum can save a slide show to an exe file.

The freeware version of Powerbullet Presenter could do this WITHOUT the
watermarked images.
