SLEEP MODE WAKING UP AT MIDNIGHT

My father in law puts his computer into sleep-mode (hiberhate?) when not in use and each night a midnight it comes back on making the ding-dong welcome tones. Wakes him up and neither he or I can figure where we need to go to correct the problem. I note that someone else couldn't get their computer to wake up from hibernation and suspect that we are our solutions are probably closely related. Any ideas?

Take a look in Scheduled tasks in the control panel to see if there is
anything scheduled to run at the same time EG Anti Virus updates..

Computer can be set to wake up if there are activity at:
1. the network card. Is the system connected to the Internet?
2. the serial port (modem)
Check your system BIOS and disable those options that you don't want.

If it wakes up exactly at midnight
