sketching w/ tablet PC

I am an architect and am looking for a way to present
ideas dynamically to large groups. For instance, I'd like
to make a presentation with photos and plans of a building
and, then, be able to "overdraw" it in real time,
incorporating my client's input on the screen in hand-
written or sketch form.

This is not unlike the way commentators diagram plays on
Monday Night Football so I suspect it can be done. My
question is, can it be done with a tablet PC, a digital
projector and PowerPoint - is additional software or
hardware required?

It can be done with a Tablet PC and also with the new features that will be
released with PowerPoint 2003 you'll be able to use "ink" on slides and save
your annotations. While it can also be done with a mouse on a regular PC or
laptop, it is much easier with a Graphire Pen and Tablet from Wacom ($99).

Anything that is drawn on the Tablet or on the Graphire pad will display on
the screen. Your use is an excellent application of the technology.
