SIS driver / Windows update

Does anyone know if MS has tweaked anything to do with SIS chipset drivers
recently, I can't remember any hardware updates that I've allowed ? I've
had a significant rummage using Google and I can't find anything.

Windows Defender popped up this evening with :-

The creation date of sisport.sys is interesting, I haven't fiddled with
IDE ...or USB drivers for ages !

been there ...it's horrid !"

It's not a "problem" as such. I got an alert from WD advising that a change
was detected - to do with sisport.sys.
