Single Board Computer / Wireless

Does anybody know if there is a company that makes small SBCs that has
integrated wireless Ethernet?

I have an Advantech board right now and if I want to include wireless
support, I need to buy a 104 adapter that supports PCMCI cards and then I
have to buy the actual wireless card. Total price around $240 bucks! That's
just too much, not to mention that the board become bulky with all that
extra hardware.

Thanks.

I went round this loop a couple of months ago and didn't find anything
then - might have changed by now.

The solution I've gone for is to use a dongle style USB to wireless adapter.
This adds little bulk to the hardware, and on a USB extension cable, can be
treated as a moveable antenna to get the required reception.

Sounds like a good idea, I have seen this USB dongles at Best Buy, I didn't
take them seriously because being so small I though they would do a horrible
job, I guess I will have to give them a shot.

The other problem with this things is that my system is going to be expose
to the general public and I have to somehow secure the dongle so that it
won't get stolen!

I don't get it, wireless is not something that was created last week, its
been out for such a long time you would think that it would be something
easy to find, but that does not seem to be the case with SBCs. Well, I will
get that USB dongle tomorrow and test it to see what happens.

Thanks.
