Single ATI card vs SLI

I am trying to make the decision between an ATI X1650 pro or 2 7600GT's in
SLI mode. Price about equal, which will give better performance in BF2?

Price equal? One single 7600GT in normaly more expensive than a
X1650Pro. The Radeon X1650XT seems to be more directly comparable to
the 7600GT in price, and the performance is also more alike (in total
a little bit better, also taking the 3D-image quality and features
into consideration).

Also remember that the difference between a X1650Pro with DDR2 and
with DDR3 is quite huge, as the DDR3-boards normaly have much faster
memory. (the DDR2-boards are under 800 MHz normaly, while the
DDR3-based X1650Pro-boards are normaly 1400 MHz, on some boards also
more).

Well. One single 7600GT is better than a X1650Pro. So naturally, two
7600GT are better than one X1650Pro. that is a complete different
pricerange. Personally I would buy one single more expensive board
than two 7600GT for SLI. At least here in Norway now, one single
GeForce 8800GTS-320 is just a little more expensive than two 7600GT

Two of these are 300 bucks. I also belive 150USD is quite muck for a
7600GT. I belive I have seen 7600GT's quite much cheaper than this in
the US (just over 100 usd some places). But anyway, for an example you
get a GeForce 8800GTS-320 for under 300 at Newegg, Amazon etc.

In general faster, simpler, better image quality, better features
(DX10 among other things)...
