Since SP2

Hi,
I have two questions that I can`t sort out, and hope someone could
help. First, I am running XP (professional) and when the computer was
booting up this used to be shown on the splash screen. Since installing
SP2 it no longer shows the word Professional. Also should SP2 show a
green icon in the toolbar to indicate everything is working ok, or does
it only notify you if their is a problem?? T.I.A

Hi there, yes it is normal not to show Windows XP Pro or Home, just Windows XP
If you want to check your version
Click Start, Select Run, now type in: WINVER
Press Enter
