simple task switcher?

When I'm running a lot of stuff, my Taskbar is just a mess, and it's hard to
find a window so that I can switch to it.

What would be great would be a simple popup list of tasks, so that I could
click on a task and display that window on top.

I've found two apps that come reasonably close to what I'm looking for -

Switch Window
http://www.desktopboosters.com/switch_window.html

xTaskSwitcher
http://www.redshift.com/~omega/clips/methodik/xtaskswitch.htm
http://methodik.pixelarmy.org/downloads/xTaskSwitchv807.zip

The only problem with these programs is that the tasks are not alphabetized,
making them harder to find in the list.

Not only that, the tasks are listed with the document name first, and then
the application name - for example:
jim.magic - Magic Mail Monitor

It would be much better if the window were listed as
Magic Mail Monitor - jim.magic

So, what I'm looking for is a task switcher that puts the list of running
apps in a simple list, and displays the list with the application name
first, document name second - or at least gives you the option to configure
it that way.

Anybody had any luck with this?

im guessing that the name thing is taken straight from the title of
every window. and unless im misstaken its standard windows to have the
filename before the programname so that people can find the file they
are working on in the taskbar.

best i can do is a powerpro config. but that still cant sort on appname
first...
