simple data selection problem

hi to all,

how could i select (highlight) all data in a column.

you see i have 2345 rows in a column and scrolling down till the end
somtimes becomes a problem

Hi Sev,

One way is to enter A1:A2345 in the name box and hit enter.

Another is to name the range so all you have to do is click on the name in
the name box drop down list.

Or you could just click on the column heading, but that will select the
entire 65000+ rows and that may not work for you.

Here's a couple more ways.

With A1 selected, hold Shift down and and double click on the bottom line
of A1.

With A1 selected Shift + End + Down arrow.
