Silverlight.configuration.exe

Hello.

Once in a while, I see Silverlight.configuration.exe running in the
background according to Task Manager on my updated Windows XP Pro. SP3
systems.

What exactly is it doing? Can I disable it? I don't see any services to
disable it.
