silencing new computer

hi all...

so, i have a new gateway 700x.
want to totally silence this thing.
has a fan on the power supply, another on the cpu.
looking at silentmaxx and thermaltake product replacements.
do i need a systems monitor?
comments, suggestions?

Jon, bad idea to put a clean email address in a newsgroup posting. Before
you know it you'l be inundated with spam. Always 'munge' it (as I did above,
twice) with maybe an explaination in your sig on how to un-munge it for
personal replies.

This goes for the 'reply to' field in your newsreader as well. (See header.

You don't want to be getting heaps of spam now do you? Unless you've got a
tiny penis and need products to enlarge it ;-)

CompUSA has noise absorption material that you can stick onto the inside
panels of your case to deaden the noise a little. I haven't tried it yet,
but looks like I'll be giving them a visit...
