Sidewinder ff Joystick

Hi all,
Just upgraded to new puter. Question - is it possible to
get an adapter to convert from the normal joystick plug
to use a USB socket/port and would the j-stick work
correctly.

Answer: Yes an No! There exists a Gameport to USb adapter that could work
(Radio Shack) but you may loose all the additional features of the joystick.
It may be better to replace the systick with another USB model.

Yves,Thanks for your suggestion. The "no" part is correct!
The cheapest and least problematic was to by a new USB
joystick. Sad that good kit like this can become
redundant so readily.
