sidebar

sidebar and gadgets have turned white. can't get the sidebar to go
transparent and show gadgets.

Right click the Taskbar > click Task Manager > Processes (tab) > select the
"sidebar.exe" process > click End Process. Open Control Panel > double click
Sidebar. I suspect this is just a rendering error/glitch. I would file a
report also:

Did you alter any display settings? If not, you may need to reinstall your
display drivers.
