Side by Side Calendars

Z

Zam

When using side by side calendars most of my clients can
see the names of the users calendars they are viewing
side by side. However some of them do not see the names
of the users at the top of the calendars they are
sharing. Options to rename are all grey'd out.
Has anyone else come accross this???

Yes, I have, but like you can't figure out how to rename. Using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003 for mail. I have 2 other users calendars and I would like to rename them.

Thanks,
Jerry

Names appear if the mailbox is opened as a shared calendar, but not when
added as a secondary mailbox... so try opening the calendar using Open a
shared calendar... you can remove the secondary mailboxes from the My
Calendars list after adding them in Other Calendars.

You can't name them - only see the name of the mailbox in place of
"calendar".

I renamed the Calendar successfully.
Under the "Other Calendars" Section, I had say "Flinstone, Fred" and
thats what appeared when I displayed Freds calnedar.
I then right clicked Flinstone, Fred and chose Rename "Flinstone,
Fred"... tosay Freddy, and bingo Freddy displayed at the top of the
Calendar Display.
BTW, its strange this cannot be done to Calendars displayed under the
My Calendar Section (Opening Secondary Mailboxes).

Exactly my point. On one users machine, I cannot rename the particular
calendar. But I can rename the one right next to it. One note, the calendar I
can't rename, is blank initially.

Thanks,
Jerry

In the Calendar Title area, it is blank. Where on other machines, it has the
calendar name in it.

Thanks,
Jerry

that's at the top of the calendar window? and it's not blank in the my
calendar/other calendars list? Did you remove it and add it back?
