SID Reset

Hi Folks,

I am using a backup program that over writes the existing
SID. The problem is that frequently the downloaded SID
will not allow the PC access to the network until the
machine is physically removed from the network and then
plugged back in.

I am wondering if it is possible to reset the SID with a
software switch, or registry setting, from with-in a
batch file for instance.
