Hi
I have a strange problem with windows vista
if I click on start then search then "files and folders" it opens the
shutdown window where you can select to shutdown, sleep, restart, etc.
when i click on close it then opens the file search window.
How can I fix this?
thanks

No its vista 64bit - we have changed the theme to classic windows so that
users don't get scared because vista is different from xp also with 1400
users with the mix of xp and vista it makes our life a little easier then
remembering 2 different layouts :)
so its definately vista not xp and it occurs when opening the search window
through the start menu as earlier discribed
thanks

No not using windows orb - as I replied to Mark its vista 64 but we have
changed it to use the windows classic theme so that it looks and feels like
windows xp. therefore it has the same layout as winxp in the start menu which
lets you select start -> search -> files and folders
thanks

Vista does not have this menu combination so you are likely clicking the
Windows orb, followed by the padlock that lets you choose the shutdown type.
That would be considered normal in Vista.
