XP Home SP2 Fails to Shutdown/Logout with an Event ID: 1073. Curiously this
does NOT appear to be a "problem" from the First Session since starting
Windows, but rather from the second??? One can exit from the this second
session using the Task Manager (but NOT from the Windows Main Start Menu),
from where the system can be shutdown/restarted. Although there is a
Microsoft Web Link included in the Event Log for the Event ID: 1073, it
provides no more explaination as to the reason for the Shutdown/Logout
Failure. What surprises me is how quickly the Failure happens, to me
Windows XP did NOT try very hard??? NOTE: have run several scans for
Malware and nothing has been detected...
