Shutdown in Vista ultimate and SAPPHIRE RADEON X1650 PRO 256MB AGP issues

Hi All

I upgarded my card to SAPPHIRE RADEON X1650 PRO 256MB AGP over the weekend
and noticed now when I shutdown the PC reboots instaled of shuting down.
The other thing i noticed the BIOS AI graphic is all screwed, showing it the
logo in a multicolour array of rainbows, if you follow what i mean.

Is this a problem with the vista drive fromt eh shipphire card?
The card does actually come Vista ready, so wonder if this is a
compatability issue.

Thanks in advance.

I'm using the same card with Vista Home Premium 64, everything works
flawlessly except when
I go to shut down or restart I get an alert that ccc.exe stopping windows
from shutting down
but this is gone in two seconds and everything shuts down normaly. so it
could possibly be something
with the ATI software.......just a guess.

Hi

I like to report back i fixed this issue now, by uninstalling complete the
ccc ati complete package and rebooting.
Going to ATI's site and downloading ont he display driver which i think was
about 19MB (hefty size for a driver?) and now shutdown works and no more
blue screens.
Although the AI ASUS Bios graphic on boot up is still screwed up.

Hope the above works for you dodge.
