Shutdown Event Viewer Warning

Looking at my Event Viewer I find the following Warning all the time and
I can't really figure out what it means? I'm the only user on this account.

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1517
Date: 09-Jan-07
Time: 20:15:14
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: XXXXXX
Description:
Windows saved user XXXXXXXXX registry while an application or service
was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the
user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when
it is no longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try
configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or
NetworkService account.

I'm a little confused here. I don't log off before I shut down XP.
Should I be doing that?

I'm the only user on this machine so when XP boots I'm presented with a
screen that has my name only and when I click on that XP starts with my
settings.

Before I shut down XP, should I log off and if I should, how do I log
off? And if I log off will I get the same screen when I boot XP the next
morning?

I need to add a signature file. Sorry.

I don't think logging off before you shut down the computer
will do anything to prevent those warnings you're seeing in
Event Viewer. Running the UPHClean service is the only remedy
I'm familiar with.

If you're wondering why you keep getting those warnings, take a
look at the readme file for UPHClean.

The readme.txt file was confusing but I installed the UPHClean and it
seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks for your help.

Any new problems or surprises from using UPHClean?

I've used it on my home PC for a couple of years with no problems or
surprises.
