Shut Down menu missing from Task Manager

I have two installations of Windows XP SP2. One is running on an Intel
Pentium and one running on an AMD.

The AMD installation Task Manager does not show the Shut Down menu!

I have checked the two installations and I cannot find anything different.

Is there a configuration option that I am missing?

Thanks,

dave

Thanks for responding Anando.

The problem with this answer is that I have several Windows XP SP2 systems
and the Shutdown menu is on all of them except for the one I talked about. I
am suspecting that maybe it is something installed on that system (e.g. SQL
Server 2000) combined with SP2 that may have caused it.

Thanks for any further thoughts.

Regards,

dave

I find if you are using the classic log on screen then the Shut Down Menu is
missing on the Task Manager.

If you are using the welcome screen, the Shut Down Menu is on the Task
Manager toolbar.
