Showing Pix on TV

Can someone tell me what I have to do to show my pix on my TV? I have a
sony camera cybershot and I have copied all my pix to a CD. I put it in the
DVD player and all the icons appear but I can't view any of them. Do they
have to be copied to a DVD format? I've never attempted this before but we
have a large group of people coming over and want to show our vacation pix
on our big screen. Thanks!

I suspect you could connect your camera to the
TV and view all the images on the memory card.
Check your Sony manual for the correct steps.

Some DVD players will play a Picture CD...and
some will not...are your pictures in the JPEG format?
Check the owner's manual for your DVD Player for
info.

If your DVD player will not play CD's with photos you could transfer them to DVD
or purchase a Photo Viewer which you plug your camera card into.

Or just plug the Camera into the TV as John suggests......if your Camera has the
necessary cable to allow this. Most supply a cable with purchase of the Camera.

Examples of Viewers are the SanDisk Photo Viewer or Visioneer Viewer.

EBay has them at very good prices.
