Show only unique results in query

I have tried changing the query properties to yes for unique records and also
tried changing them to yes for unique values but still my query shows
duplicates. (In the actual database they are not duplicate records because
my query is not extracting all the fields from the one table).
I also tried a pivot table but there is not enough memory in my computer to
complete it.
In MS Query I can do it by choosing query properties then unique values so I
am sure there must be somthing similar in MS Access. This query will be too
large for MS Query
so...

IS THERE AN EASY WAY TO FILTER THE RESULTS OF A QUERY TO SHOW ONLY THE
UNIQUE RECORDS THAT APPEAR IN THE RESULTS ???

Try a Totals query.
If you post your SQL someone can help you with it.
