Should I use a scatter graph?

I would like to chart some various housing compounds based on rental
rate (y) vs their size, in this case bedrooms (x). I can get the look
and results that I want, but I can't get the label of the compound
(A,B or C) next to the data point.

I have never used scatter graphs before, so I'm not sure if this is
the correct path. Should I be using a scatter graph?

Sample
Compound Bedrooms Lease
A 4 16,000
B 4 18,000
C 5 19,000

By the way....anyone want to offer advice on how to solve this? ;-)

I did ust that add in program that someone had mentioned. Works great,
but I can only use that at home. I can't add untested software to my
office comp. Big international company you know.

I don't think you're going to be able to get better advice than you got in
the charting group, where Jon Peltier is the acknowledged expert.

I guess that if the company won't allow you to use the add-ins recommended,
they'll be happier to pay for you to write some add-ins of your own to do
the same job (and for you to test them to the company's satisfaction), or to
pay you to add the labels manually to each point? Your situation is
understood, & we sympathise.

You could find where the add-in is installed on your home computer, copy it
to a flash drive (if you're allowed to use the USB ports on your work
computer, that is), copy it to a directory on your work computer which you
have access to, and install it using Tools menu > Add-Ins > Browse.
