shorted my power supply

I pinched my red wire going to the hard drive in the side
case panel,it sparked and the computer went off for 10
minutes.I fixed the short, and it came back on..I guess
I'm very lucky I didn't fry the H-D or motherboard.Q:Does
H/P have a auto fuse reset,or should I buy a new power
supply.I took the power supply apart,but can't find a
fuse.

Buy a new power supply. Don't ever risk using a shorted supply in your
computer. $60.00 now is alot cheaper than replacing other components and
quite possibly losing all the data on your HD later.

Many power supplies have a thermal overload (temperature sensitive). When
the supply cools down again, after a short, it will start working (if you
are lucky)
