Shortcuts for non administrator accounts

Hi, I've set up a user account for my son but there are some shortcuts that I
don't want on his desktop. When I remove them from his desktop it also
removes them from mine. How do I fix this?

Thanx

Put shortcuts you want to see only for your login, in c:\documents and
settings\yourname\desktop. Remove them from ...\all users\desktop.

Look at the shortcuts contained in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

This folder is for all user accounts of this pc. See if those you want to restrict are there. If so, while in Windows Explorer, highlight, do a Cut and paste into the other desired user-account
e.g., C:\Documents and Settings\<my account>\Desktop

Bring up XP's Help and Support. Search on "taking ownership" . Read up on topics that show up:
Take ownership of a file or folder
Access control overview
File and Folder permissions
Ownership
Special permissions for files and folders
