Shortcut right click focus menu query

Fletcher

In general when you right click on a menu and it brings up a submenu, some
of those submenus have got capitlized letters.

Is thier a shortcut key to actually activate those when the submenu has got
focus? I am meaning is their general rule for windows which would probably
work in most cases?

Thanks in advance

Yes, if underlined. Not all capitalized letters are keyboard shortcuts.

Keyboard shortcuts are the underlined characters in menus and controls.

Depends on the setting here...

Right click the Desktop | Properties |
Appearance tab | Effects button |
UNCheck: Hide underlined letters for keyboard navigation until I press the
Alt key | OK |Apply | OK

[[Specifies whether to suppress the drawing of keyboard shortcuts (the
underlined characters in menus and controls) and input focus indicators (the
dotted rectangles around objects), until you actually start using the
keyboard to navigate in Windows, generally with the ALT, TAB, or arrow
keys.]]
