Shortcut hotkeys don't work anymore on XP machines

Scott Kelley

For years I have set up the Internet Explorer shortcut with the shortcut
keys Ctl-Alt-E. I did the same on two different XPPro machines, and both,
after a period of time stopped responding to the shortcut even tho it still
shows up in the shortcut properties. Any thought as to why?

Thx

Try setting up your shortcut key in the Start Menu shortcut, instead of the
Desktop icon. Note that you must use a different shortcut key than the one
in the Desktop icon (or erase that key).
