Shell_notifyIcon fail Error Message

In June, "livealone" had this same problem. When powering up, this error
message shows up, "Shell_NotifyIcon Fail". I have tried similar avenues to
resolve the error and reading the posts, I do not see where there was any
additional info posted, or if "livealon" finally got the problem resolved.
Help anyone?

Do you have an UMAX VistaScan scanner?

Yes as a matter of fact I have a 1200S. It has not caused and problems in the
past. Could this be the source/

Yes as a matter of fact I have a 1200S. It has not caused and
problems in the past. Could this be the source?

Probably is...
Do a quick Google Search and you will see it popping up a lot.

Do you have this version of the software/driver?

In Windows 2000 - this is Microsoft's suggestion.. You may want to do it in
XP as well.
