Sharing RSS feeds between IE and Outlook

I want to get the RSS feeds that I've added in IE in outlook.
I found an article telling me how to get outlook to sync with the common
feeds list but it hasn't worked. Could this be because I have the IE8 Beta?
Any help on making this work would be appreciated.

It very easily could be because of the beta. Is outlook enabled for shared
RSS?
