Sharing my scanner

Hello,

I just installed the Netgear WPN824 wireless router to my network and have
two cable attached PC'S and my wireless laptop running through it and
everything seems to be fine.
The problem is on my main PC the wired one which I signed up to my provider
with is the only pc that can see my scanner. I'm unable to figure out how to
get it to properly share on the network with my other hardwired and wireless
PC's. On the two PC's not showing it there is no indication of it in printer
setup or filemanager's network neigborhood. Right clicking on the scanner in
My Computer on the original PC does not give it a sharing option either.

Can someone help me figure out how to get the scanner shared across my
network?

Sharing a scanner is only possible if the scanner manufacturer or a
third party supplies software to do it. Windows doesn't have that
capability built in. Here's one possible source:

Scanner sharing isn't as convenient as printer sharing. Unlike a
printer, you have to be physically present at a scanner to operate it.

Here are some other possible solutions:

1. Scan images into a shared folder on the computer that connects to
the scanner and then access the images from the other computer(s).

2. Use remote control software, such as Remote Desktop or RealVNC, to
operate the computer that connects to the scanner from another
computer on the network.
