Sharing Multiple Contact Lists - Possible?

Hello,

We run an Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 environment. We have an individual
who has started scanning business cards using a 3rd party app called
CardScan. It creates its own type of list and has the functionality of
importing them as a new address book on the users machine who is running the
program.

It creates additional contact lists under My Contacts. I am aware that you
can share out the "default" Contacts under My Contacts, however I am unable
to share out these new lists as they appear to be sublists of the main
contact list? Is there a way without creating .PST's and sharing them or
importing them to each user?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could move those "lists" (which should be called "contact folders") on
the same level than your original contact folder by click&dragging them onto
the MAILBOX-username. Share them from there... you might aswell move all
contacts from those folders into the "main" contact folder if there is no
reason to keep them separated and share your normal contact folder.

Actually I do want to keep these "lists" separate from the persons main
contact list as that is their private stuff.

Would I be able to accomplish this using your drop & drag method?

I guess I don't get this.

I have the new list in Outlook and dragged it to the mailbox name. No
matter what rights I give (both sharing and permissions) I get a cannot find
list error when the person goes to "Open Shared Contacts"

What am I doing wrong?

I have given the person 'editing publisher' permissions and 'editing
publisher' sharing rights to the particular list I want them to see.
