Hi
For some reason I cannot share my Canon PIXMA printer (not the R version
with the built in network connector) over my home network. I have never had
any trouble sharing any other printer, but when I go through the set up for
this one, it goes through, the printer appears on the other PC's printers and
faxes page (it, too, is running XP Home) but when I try to print a test page
it does not print and I get a message to tell me the same.
This printer replaces an HP DeskJet 930C, both of them USB printers. The HP
set up its own USB port. The Canon sets up a virtual USB printer port.
Does anyone have any ideas on this one?
Regards
Geoff
