Sharing activities

Hi All

we use Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 and use a public contacts folder. All activities are logged in *personal* journal. How do we make all personal journals available publicly?

Using the "Share this folder" option won't work because the shared journal is not displayed in the Contact Folder-properties-activities dialog although it has been made available by clicking on the "Properties- Share this folder" option.

Cheers, Joe

Outlook does not provide any built-in simple mechanism for maintaining a
public journal. See http://www.slipstick.com/journal/pubjournal.htm for a
discussion of this issue and possible solutions.

Hi Sue

thanks for your answer and pointer to slipstick.com. Congratulations for this excellent website.

The missing public journal feature is in fact a *major* shortcoming for a software that is called "collaboration tool". MS should sort this out asap..

Cheers
Joe
