Sharing a printer

Have a new Laptop with windows vista home premium and a desktop comp with
windows xp home
connect to the internet via a dsl modem
use a linksys wireless router

No internet problems with either laptop or desktop comps

I would like to share the printer that is connected to my desk top

do I need to set up the xp comp in any speciall way so that I can share its
printer with the vista laptop?

I am not sure if this is the best place to post this question, please be so
kind as to tell me the best place to look
