Sharing a network printer

Is it possible to rename a network printeron the client. Say i have a
computer named Arvin and a printer Brother installed onit. If i install this
network printer on an xp machine, the printer name will br 'Brother on
Arvin'. Can i rename the printer to say brother.

you can set the "share" name to whatever you want (rename on the computer
that is sharing the printer , then when add printer to a client , it will
pick up whatever name you called it)
