Shared Fax in XP workgroup

Mike

I've a client who has a workgroup of about 6 WinXP(Home) Workstations.
They also have a Win2K server sitting off in the corner as a file
server.

They would like to be able to have a fax modem in one of the machines
and have everyone be able to share that faxmodem over the network to
send faxes. I'm assuming that any solution would have to see the
faxmodem be in the Win2K server, since I'll be darned if I can see
anywhere to share a fax modem in XP.

In any case, I need some recommendations on how best to set this up,
and what software they'll need to buy (if any) to get this going.
Hopefully this will be able to be done with minimum purchases, as
budget is a concern for them.

Thanks,

M

This group deals with issues surrounding Outlook and Microsoft Fax, Winfax
starter edition, and the Windows 2000 and XP faxes with Outlook.

Since you did not mention using Outlook, you will probably find a better
answer if you look on http://www.slipstick.com for fax programs that work
without Outlook.
