Shared Documents folder is gone

dave

I somehow managed to remove / rename the Shared Documents
folder (in \documents and settings\all users) to just
Documents. Now I can't access it at all. Simply adding
a Shared Documents folder to \documents and settings\all
users doesn't accomplish the same function as what Shared
Documents is used for. Multiple family members use this
computer and I really need a Shared Documents folder.
Can anyone help?

The Shared Documents folder is actually simply named 'Documents'. It needs to contain a text file
named desktop.ini with the following contents to display "Shared documents"

[.ShellClassInfo]
