Shared database can I get everyone out?

I need to update the table for a shared database. However there are lots of
employees that share this database & although I've requested everyone to be
out some are on lunch or leave for the day with it open.
Is there someway I can see which pc has it locked up? Or is there someway I
can still update it with others being logged in to it?

Used to have the same problem.

Worked with the group and LAN administrator to disconnect anyone that I
could not contact when exclusive use of database was required.
