Hello,
We have an Ex5.5 server with OL2002/XP clients. Today the server
mistakenlydid an offline backup during working hours while many users
were connected. When Exchange started again, many users found that
calendars which they had previously been given access to had vanished
from their folder list. Restarting teh Outlook client didn't fix the
problem.
The offline backup was just a script that net stop'd the Exchange
services, did the backup, then restarted the services. It took about 90
mins.
Any ideas? At least we have a recent backup!
