Shared border problem. Large graphic on first page, smaller on all else.

My problem is this. I want the first page of my site to have a larger graphic then of all the else. So I change out the graphic on my first page and then it changes all other graphics...shared border. Ok. I know how to turn on/off shared borders. But then when I turn off the top shared border the left border with it's nav buttons moves to the top of the page and I lose the banner and find how to insert it back in

And I don't want it to. All I want to do on my home page, have a large graphic and on each page thereafter have one about a 1/3 of the size. It should be an easy solution but it's not. I want to control the borders/graphics on ONE PAGE and it's not letting me. Please help me out here. Thanks.

Shared border means Shared on All page that use them
- remove the shared border from your home page (Format Shared Border - Selected page)
