Share folders but only between 3 computers on the network

I want only 3 pcs of my network to have access to my pc. It's a p2p network.
The rest must have no access. How can I do this like I did in Windows 98? I
share a folder a I put a password. This cannot be done In Windows XP. Is
there a way to do this in XP pro?

Since you have XP Pro, it is easy. First disable Simple Sharing from Folder
Options>View tab. Next create user accounts on your machine only for the
people who are allowed to access your shares (and yourself of course!). All
user accounts must have passwords. The user accounts and passwords must
match the ones on the other computers. Now when someone who is not one of
those users tries to access your shares they will be denied.

XP Home does not give you that ability. All machines authenticate as Guest.
To keep things private in XP Home, put them in your My Documents folder and
make My Documents private. For files not in My Documents you would need to
zip them and password-protect the zipped folder.

There's no supported way to control access to shared folders in XP
Home. Here are some unsupported methods that might work. I haven't
tried them, but they've been recommended by people who I trust. If
you want to try them, back up your important data and create a system
restore point first:

1. Start Windows XP in "Safe Mode with Networking" (which temporarily
disables "Simple File Sharing"), share the desired folder(s), set the
permissions, and reboot normally.

2. Use the CACLS command, as described here:

3. Follow the procedure shown here:
