| I have a HP scanjet 3570c. I'd like to share it over my wireless

Gwen:
It is possible to share a scanner using an external HP JetDirect print-server. So a
printer+scanner such as the HP 1100 laser+printer can be connected to a HP 170x JetDirect
printer server and shared. However standards SCSI or USB scanners, not really.
Even if the scanner (such as I expressed previously) or a Xerox printer+scanner+copier such
as the 432st is able to do so, scanning over a LAN sucks. In the case of the Xerox it scans
the image then sends the image back to the user via email.
Basically, forget about the idea entitrely. I have tried and it was a waste of time. It is
far easier to remove the scanner and place on another PC and let the PC use Twain
compliancy to scan. There is no over-the-LAN Twain compliant capabilities.
