Shaking monitor display

I purchased a new comp with XP on it, which I am not
familiar with. At the bottom of the screen the pic is
shaking, as if the monitor was wobbling. what do you
think may be the problem?

Some larger monitors have that problem at low refresh
rates, up your video cards refresh rate.

Right click on your desktop, click settings, click
advanced, click monitor. Change the Screen Refresh rate to
something between 72-100, dont worry if you go to high and
the screen no longer becomes visable, just hit esc and it
will return to revious settings. Usually a safe setting is
85Hertz

It may also be that if you have any plugs and sockets behind your monitor. My
monitor wobbled like that then i moved it away from the plugs and it stopped.

A defective monitor if new. Look for an update for your video driver if it is
the old monitor.
