SFC /scannow keeps prompting me for the Win Xp cd rom

I've been trying to do the SFC /scannow & it keeps prompting
me for the Win Xp cd rom. When i insert the Xp cd rom it keeps prompting
me for the original Win Xp cd ( which is the original). And sometimes I get
You have Inserted the wrong CD !
I copied the i386 folder from the XP cd and saved it on
C:\Document and settings\Unique\i38

My question is: Is it ok to Point it to C:\Document and settings\Unique\i38
instead of CD ROM ( because I think I have problem with that) and if so
HOW CAN I Point it to C:\Document and settings\Unique\i386

any help pleae so i could finish the Scan ?
Thank
Fred

YW, Fred - glad you got things set up the way you want them. No, you don't
need to worry about those missing entries. Just go ahead and use SFC as you
are. :)
