Setup detected... ???

While trying to load Office 2003, I got the following message:

"Setup has detected that you have one or more of the following features
installed: cc:Mail, Microsoft Mail, Net Folders, Microsoft Fax, or
Winfax Starter Edition (SE). These features are no longer supported by
Outlook. If you continue the upgrade, you will no longer be able to use
them. Would you like to continue the upgrade to Outlook?"

Searching my computer, I don't find evidence of any of those programs.
Could something else be triggering this? Is this anything to be
concerned about? What's the worst that could happen if I load anyway?

Thanks,
Chuck

They are a part of Outlook, probably 2000 or 98 considering that message
about Net Folders and Winfax Starter Edition. Nothing to worry about except
that none of these will work in the upgraded version. They barely worked in
their current version.

I gottcha! Thanks.

I do have 2000 on the machine and am installing 2003 into a separate
folder. When it upgrades Outlook 2000 (because it can't have two
versions of Outlook) it must see some addin inside Outlook 2000 that
came with it and is warning it can't carry that over to the new
version.

I see now. Not much to worry about. Thanks again.
